This policy explains how we process the personal data of people who visit ace-media.it and of people who contact us through the website's forms, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Law no. 171 of 21 December 2018 of the Republic of San Marino.

What data we process
Browsing data
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. To serve pages and protect them from abuse, the systems that run the website collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time. We do not use this data to identify you.
Data you send us through the contact forms
Your name, email and/or mobile number, the text of your message and confirmation that you have read this policy. Your name and at least one way to reach you are required for us to reply: without them, we can't follow up on your request.
If you reach one of our landing pages from an ad, we add to your request the service and page you are writing from and, only if you have accepted marketing cookies, the ad click parameters (search keyword, campaign, Google click identifier).
Data you send us by phone, email or WhatsApp
If you call or write to us directly, we process your contact details and whatever you tell us in order to reply. WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., which processes data under its own privacy policy.
Data collected through cookies
On our campaign landing pages we use Google Ads cookies, only with your consent. If you accept and send the form, Google also receives your email and mobile number in encrypted (hashed) form, so it can attribute the request to the ad that generated it (enhanced conversions). Details are in the cookie policy.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to requests, preparing quotes, getting back to you | Pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Managing any resulting engagement and the related tax obligations | Contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c)) |
| Measuring which ads bring in requests (Google Ads) | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time |
| Website security and spam blocking | Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
We do not use your data for newsletters or promotional messages, we do not sell it and we do not pass it on to third parties for their own purposes. We do not make automated decisions or carry out profiling that has legal effects on you.
Who may receive the data
The data is processed by the controller and by the providers that help run the website, appointed as data processors:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and abuse protection.
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — delivering messages written in the forms to our mailbox.
- The email provider for ace-media.it — storing the messages we receive.
- Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — Google Ads conversion measurement, only with your consent.
Some of these providers are based in, or have servers in, the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for providers that have joined it, or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
How long we keep it
- Contact requests that go no further: up to 24 months from the last exchange, after which we delete them.
- If the request turns into an engagement: for the duration of the relationship and then for the period required by tax and civil law.
- Browsing data: for as long as strictly necessary to run and secure the website.
- Cookies: for the periods listed in the cookie policy.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format (portability) or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it whenever you like, without affecting what was done before.
Just write to info@ace-media.it: we reply within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority of the Republic of San Marino (garanteprivacy.sm) or with the authority of the EU country where you live or work — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Changes
We may update this policy if the website's services or the law change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest revision.
